On Thursday, April 6, I attended the “BREAKING INTO THE BIZ!” panel of discussion moderated by F. Kendrick, PhD (Dep. Media, Journalism & Film) on the campus of Howard University. I originally came as an attendee, but ended up working it to help record video and take photos. Although I was distracted with tasks for a majority of the event, I did enjoy what I was able to listen to from the panel.

Corey Turner ended up being my favorite speaker that night. He was candid, realistic, and humorous. Even after the panel, he was very open to any and all questions thrown his way from our students.
