I’ve been waiting around for about two years now for someone to help me come up with a design concept for a logo that I can use permanently for YouTube, and of course for promotional purposes. Yet, I always find myself hating what other people came up with. I had this idea in my head of what it should look like and it seemed like no one could bring my vision to life. Then, the other day I had to ask myself: “Judayah, you’re a graphic design minor–you love creating. Why are you waiting on someone else to make a logo for you? Because you don’t know how? LEARN HOW.”

And just like that, I found the willpower to design my first few cartoons. I decided to practice on celebrities, first, before I make my own.

There is a moral to this revelation I had, I promise.

You see, people have always told me to be the change that I want to see in the world, and I’m finally seeing that I really do have the power to do just that. As a young Christian woman, I have to remind myself that I can do ALL things through Christ whom strengthens me.
